Mission
The mission of the P.E.I. Cattle Producers (PEICP) is to provide leadership and support for the PEI beef industry as it reaches its potential. The board will foster profitable, environmentally sustainable beef production through vigorous leadership, representation, education, co-operation, and promotion.
Vision
Prince Edward Island will be at the forefront of the North American beef industry, producing premium quality beef in a profitable and environmentally sustainable manner.
Values
It is the role of the PEICP board to represent the views of the beef industry.
Producers expect the PEICP to set goals that challenge the industry to move forward, and will be critical if this is not done.
It is important that the PEICP set challenging goals.
It is the job of the PEICP to provide a vision for the industry and to support the industry as it moves towards profitability.
In order to prosper within the larger North American industry, the PEI beef industry must be focused, proactive and willing to "be the best".
PEICP encourages the responsible production of safe, quality beef.
